Biography
Richard practices in the area of workers’ compensation and is a Certified Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona. He is also recognized as one of Arizona’s Finest Lawyers, and is listed in Best Lawyers in America since 1995, the National Register of Who's Who, in the United States, and the International Register of Who’s Who. Richard was born in Arizona, as a third generation of Arizonans, from a steelworker union family, and graduated from Arizona State University and Arizona State University law school. He is the managing attorney for the law firm of Taylor & Associates, P.L.L.C. He originated the current workers' compensation practice in 1975 after brief stints with the Industrial Commission and the State Compensation Fund. Richard is also involved in restoration of classic cars and driving in international classic car rallies around the world. Richard and his wife are now developing the Mzuzu Academy, a private, non-religious, high school in Malawi in Southern Africa. See mzuzuacademy.org. In addition to the cats in the office, he has ten cats and 4 dogs in his home.
