Biography

Roger practices in the area of workers’ compensation, and is a Certified Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona. Roger received his B.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University and his J.D. from the University of Miami. Previously, He served as an Administrative Law Judge with the Industrial Commission of Arizona, and has served as both the Co-Chair of the CLE Committee of the Workers' Compensation Section, as well as Co-Chair of the Section, itself. Roger has served as the Chair or Co-Chair of numerous Workers' Compensation Seminars at the State Bar Convention, the Workers' Compensation Section Fall Seminars, and the Workers' Compensation Seminars at CLE-by-the-Sea. Roger is a past Chair of the Editorial Board of the Arizona Attorney. He has served on the State Bar of Arizona's CLE Committee and Professionalism Course Oversight Committee, and has frequently served as a Facilitator for the State Bar of Arizona's Course on Professionalism. Roger was the Year 2000 recipient of the State Bar of Arizona's Continuing Legal Education Award. He is a Contributor to the Revised Edition of Arizona’s Workers’ Compensation Handbook, and is a recipient of the Supreme Court’s Arizona Judicial Branch 2008 Achievement Award for his Co-Authorship of “Appeal Guides for Self-Represented Parties – Industrial Commission Appeals.” He is listed as one of Phoenix Magazine’s “Top Lawyers,” listed as one of the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers: Arizona" in www.theatla.com, and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America. Roger has also been admitted to practice law in California, Michigan, and Florida.
